Network Field technician

Zensar Technologies is looking for Jr. Field Network technician for a fulltime role based out in San Diego, CA . This is a Field Tech role and need candidate to Travel within location in San Diego at different customer sites as and when needed Field Network Tech:Should be able to work a very fast pace environment. Handle multiple projects at once. Be able to work well under a highly stressful environment. Must have a Go - Getter personality. Enjoy partnering with internal teams and providing operational direction and support in close collaboration with management and key stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesMust be willing to rack and stack hardwareCisco devices such as Switches and routers, WAPMust be willing to rack/install UPSDemonstrate strong knowledge in configuring Cisco hardware i.e. switches and routersCollaborate with IT and Information Security to establish, monitor and enforce network access policies.Willing to perform site surveys for CoSDMust have reliable transportation, employee will be driving from location to locationMust be able to carry a minimum 40lbs, climbing small ladders and or step stoolsImplementation and Troubleshooting of, Multi-layer switches, ISR/ASR routers and wireless networks (as required)Implementation and Troubleshooting of, WAN Optimizers, Load Balancers, firewalls, DNS/DHCP and VPN GatewaysKnowledgeable in the use of monitoring tools like SolarwindsMaintaining Documentation - Creating and maintaining SOPs/CMDBs/KEDBs/Run BooksIdentity and Access Management - Implementation and troubleshooting of Cisco ACS, Cisco ISE, BYoD, Network Admission controlQualifications2 - 4+ years'' experience as an IT Network field.Knowledge with Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.Understanding of TCP/IP, including; DNS and DHCP.Hands-on experience with Cisco network equipment.Strong performance tuning (QoS) and capacity planning, traffic analyzation experience.Experience with monitoring solutions such as SolarwindsWorking Knowledge of wireless technology using Ruckus or equivalent service providerProven track record identifying and championing appropriate new technologies; ability to quickly adapt changesA self-starter who can prioritize work in a fast-paced and dynamic tech environment.A team player who can collaborate across all departments and with all levels.Must possess good analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.Desired SkillsExperience at multinational corporation dealing with network service providersDemonstrate strong critical thinking skillWork well in a team environmentIOS upgrade/downgrades in CLI modeROMmon Mode, VLans, SVI''s, Subnetting, Subinterfaces, TACACS+, Tunnel InterfacesTroubleshooting all 7 Layers of OSI modelVoIP Phones, VoIP, SNMPAutomation and scriptingWireless access point installation - provided by Dice
