Enterprise Manager with Security Clearance

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an experienced leader to oversee a documentation production environment supporting a US Navy customer. This position supports development and promulgation of US Navy Strategic Weapon System (SWS) and Attack Weapon System (AWS) Fleet Documentation supporting SSBN and SSGN submarine platforms; as well as shore support facilities, defense contractors, and the Strategic Systems Programs. The most qualified candidate will work with other supervisors and oversee the team whose primary responsibility is processing electronic and paper-based Fleet Operational Documentation changes from various contractors and Navy organizations to provide quality operational documentation to the fleet and supporting activities. The team is responsible for configuration management of TRIDENT/SWS and AWS operational documentation and developing responses to Fleet, contractor, and Navy program office documentation requests. This position may also represent BAE Systems at fleet, government, and contractor liaison meetings. The manager will also conduct regular reviews of team performance, develop/use a disciplined set of processes to ensure quality objectives within acceptable thresholds, assist in the planning, funding, and execution of program level tasks, and other assigned duties. This position requires maintaining an effective working relationship with the US Navy customer and various contractors providing related fleet documentation products or engineering services to SSBN and SSGN platforms. Oversees and manages the technical project(s) and serves as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Prepares project execution plan and identifies technical and business resources needed. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
