Performance Engineer

As a Performance Engineer , you will ensure opportunities from area losses are evaluated, accurately categorized, potential improvements are identified, and solutions are implemented through the appropriate function or group. Key Responsibilities Own, evaluate, and eliminate production losses whether utilization, yield, or uptime; collaborate with reliability engineers to determine causes of equipment losses. Record and analyze all batch production deviation data while ensuring accuracy of data entry. Manage investigation for product quality problems, resolve root cause, assemble and analyze data and implement corrective action to reduce or eliminate cause. Implement equipment reliability performance tracking; guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, facilities, and safety/security systems at all times. Coordinate work with other engineers and operating groups to design and create projects that increase productivity, reduce cycle time, and facilitate process standardization. Qualifications Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering, with at least 5 years'' proven experience in process engineering or production; batch manufacturing expertise with an understanding of rheology and pigments is a plus; project experience with CapEx preferred. Understanding of reporting tools, BI reports, and driving critical metrics for performance improvement. Advanced MS Office skills, with ERP proficiency preferred.
