The Double Eagle II program at the Fort Belvoir, Virginia site is looking for an Associate Manager to join our team This position is in support of the Double Eagle II program at the Fort Belvoir site. You will serve as the associate manager for the LM staff and will report directly to the sites Mission Support Manager. This position is in support of the Double Eagle II program at the Fort Belvoir site. You will serve as the associate manager for the LM staff supporting a specific mission and will report directly to the site''s Mission Support Manager. In this role you''ll be responsible for successful execution of operations for their specific mission set. You''ll be responsible for leading and supporting a diverse group of disciplines within the mission''s domain, and will work closely with their leader and the program''s functional area of responsibility (AOR) leaders to ensure the team is staffed adequately to support the mission and their respective performance objectives on the program. Heavy focus will be on ensuring increased engagement with the staff, ultimately supporting retention, career growth opportunities, mentoring, and positive working relationships. You will be empowered and encouraged to introduce new tools/processes and strategic, innovative thinking to reduce costs and provide efficiencies in the way the team operates now and into the future. You''ll also serve a technical role within the operations domain. Additionally, you will work closely with the other managers to ensure mission operations commonality and consistency.
