This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Team. Qualified candidates will be responsible for providing our private owners and municipal clients with cost effective, user friendly, and attractive developments as well as developing new client relationships. Position involves collaboration with both our St. Louis and Metro East offices.A typical day of a Sr. Civil Engineer:Plan, design and manage a variety of private owner driven civil engineering projectsCollaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplinesCommunicate with clients regarding current and future projectsOrganize and complete projects from inception to completionPrepare project proposalsAssist with business development effortsMay attend city staff and council/ board meetingsSpecific Requirements include:BS in Civil Engineering7 - 15 years of civil engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) LicenseExperience working with private owner projects and clientsAbility to effectively manage clients and participate in business development activitiesStrong team player that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneouslyAutoCAD and Civil 3D experience preferredStrong communication skillsContract and negotiating skillsHybrid Work Program:Farnsworth Group appreciates that the workplace environment is ever evolving and recognizes that flexibility and work-life balance are an important aspect in the careers and lives of our employees.
