Job Description

La Jolla Logic is looking for a program analyst to support the Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations in Laguna Niguel, CA at the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility. The Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations is a branch of the U.S. Homeland Security Office and needs help in their efforts. Currently their job is to help screen and analyze any potential threats and situations that might happen through illegal immigration. This would be a section that you would assist in helping the team create the program that screens, analyzes, and implements processes to assist in operations success. Using Real-time intelligence, the Pacific Enforcement Response Center (PERC) reviews and creates automatic interoperability processes. Using state of the art information gathering, The PERC delivers expeditious detainer issuance, enforcement and intelligence support, and proactive, risk-based targeting of potential criminals. The pay range for this role is estimated to be $45,000 - $47,000 annually. Responsibilities: Conducts various analysis to include work on immigrant benefit cases;Performs database and manual queries on individuals referred to the PERC by other Law Enforcement Agencies categorized as possible removable aliens;Conducts calls to Law Enforcement Agencies to determine the custodial status of targeted aliens;Answers calls from Law Enforcement Agencies;Logs all information into a web-based case management system;Provides enforcement recommendations and refers cases to an ERO Officer, ERO field offices or ICE headquarters offices for follow-up review and action; andAbility to utilize DHS and Legacy INS databases in the performance of assigned work. Requirements: Bachelor''s Degree and two years of prior analytical experience supporting a law enforcement agency; or an Associate ''s Degree with three years of related experience; or five years of related experience with a High School DiplomaAbout La Jolla Logic La Jolla Logic is an advanced technology and information system security solution firm headquartered in Southern California.
