Job Description

ESS is a leading provider of full-service staffing and management programs for the K-12 educational market. We are currently seeking an Account Manager to manage the overall daily operations, activities, and staff in an assigned school district. They will be acting as a liaison between ESS staff members, school district administrators and the corporate office to ensure the delivery of quality services.This position is On-site with our partnering client in Essex CountyKey ResponsibilitiesEstablishing and maintaining positive relationships with school employees in supporting each school''s specific program needsProviding supervision and oversight to direct reports within assigned school districts, including classroom aides, instructional assistants, secretaries, bus aides and other ESS staffWorking in conjunction with school managers/employees, management and the human resources department, actively participates in the applicant hiring processWorking in conjunction with school managers/employees, management and the human resources department; actively participate in the termination/separation processCompleting and collecting daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly paperwork, e.g. time sheets, weekly reports, employee rosters, and attendance and billing records (where applicable) etc.Tracking statistics related to hiring, turnover, retention and staffingReviewing time-sheets/time records completed by direct reports for accuracy and submit to finance in accordance with established time framesActively participating in the development and implementation of performance improvement systems related to staffing for assigned program sitesMaintaining effective communications with staff, school district contacts, corporate employees, and management staffExercising appropriate judgment in addressing specific situations and respond with immediate, effective solutions and/or promptly notify program managementActing as role of direct reports in emergency situations when deemed necessaryMaintain effective verbal and written communication with colleagues, direct reports, and school district employees as neededRequirementsBachelor''s degree in a related field plus one year of related/management experienceAbility to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and manage projectsStrong communication, interpersonal, and management skillsDemonstrated ability to solve problems and offer solutionsValid Driver''s License with reliable transportationSalary$50,000 annuallyLearn how to get hired with ESS:ESSAs leaders in the education staffing space since 2000, ESS specializes in placing qualified staff in daily, long-term, and permanent K-12 school district positions including substitute teachers, school aides, and other school support staff.
