We even pay for your education to become to a licensed Care Giver and more!To learn more about Fred Lind Manor and see where you could be working, check out our website Certified Nursing Assistants:Read, understand, and follow the resident''s individually designed ADL directivesMake accurate chart notes daily on residents'' conditions, and chart on flow sheets and report any changes to supervisorAssist residents with toileting, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, nail clipping, and dressingAssist in serving meals, leading and attending activitiesRemain current with all changes regarding residents and department operations; check schedules and activities to assist residents as necessaryAssist in the admission and discharge of residentsRecord vital signs and conditions on a scheduled basis or as neededProvide verbal and physical assists to residents in transfers/ambulationAnswer lights and other calls for assistance promptly and report any possible safety hazardsMaintain neat and clean work areasKeep resident rooms in order; provides comfortable, clean, safe environment at all times; dress residents as conditions requireEnsure assigned residents are provided an opportunity to participate in social, physical, creative, and spiritual activities of their choiceEducation and/or Equivalent ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized trainingMust have a current CNA/NAR/HCA license in good standing or willing to get license paid for by Fred Lind ManorMust be certified MedTech with Nurse Delegation training or willing to complete training provided by Fred Lind ManorMust have current CPR/First Aid certificationUnderstand follow written and verbal instructions and work within standard policy and proceduresMust be able to read and write sufficiently in order to complete responsibilities of the positionMust be able to communicate effectively in English with residents and staffFred Lind Manor is managed by a dedicated group of people committed to the vision of Transforming the Perception of Age and enhancing the lives of older adults.
