Company DescriptionJob Purpose:The Assistant Store Manager, Operations is responsible for operational efficiency and quality of experience in the store. They will work closely to support the Store Manager in all store performance areas - Store Financial Performance, People Management & Engagement, Customer Experience and Operational Excellence. They will ensure that the Aspen location achieves its financial targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI''s) while creating an experience that allows customers to continuously conquer the outdoors. Finally, they will lead and mentor their teammates and ensure they maintain Canada Goose''s expectations of quality and authenticity and excel in all areas.What you will do in this role:Store Financial Performance:Achieve or exceed sales targets including both the top and bottom line resultsOperational Excellence:Analyze and proactively react to inventory planning and maintain proper inventory metrics such as stock-ins, turnover, and flowMaintain loss prevention procedures that minimize unnecessary loss and increase securityEnsure overall accuracy and efficiency in inventory and cash store operating procedures measured by shrinkPerform payroll and scheduling to maximize productivity and enhance customer experience measured by Sales per hour (SPH)Effectively manage in store operation systems (Point of sale, Workday, etc.)Perform store opening and closing procedures in alignment with company standardsRegularly review company''s email and other communication tools to ensure applicable messages are shared with the team and acted on in a timely mannerCustomer Experience:Ensure an outstanding customer experience through operational efficiency including stock room management, cash wrap experience and following sales floor best practicesDrive our Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other selling and service metricsPeople Management & Engagement:Train teammates on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure they have the proper understanding of SOP''s potential impact on the businessMotivate and inspire teammates to create brand loyalty and inspire a positive store environmentCoach and mentor teammates to improve performance and develop future leaders while identifying external talent for Canada Goose''s retail businessEnsure an outstanding employee experience and drive employee engagementWhat''s in it for you:Competitive wages, industry leading benefits including 401k with company match, paid time off, product discount and other additional perksThe chance to be part of an innovative team and a workplace founded on authenticity, passion and relentlessnessInternal Learning and Development department to support career progression for everyoneThe opportunity to collaborate with teammates around the globeGrowth opportunities with a leading luxury apparel brand that values sustainabilityWhat we''re looking for from you:3-5 years of retail management experience, bonus points for previous experience working with luxury brands in high volume traffic locationsPayroll and expense management experienceProven track record of maintaining operational excellence in retail storesStrong analytical skills with a solid understanding of retail math/metricsOperations expert with the ability to drive performanceFlexible and able to work standard retail hours including peak season, evenings, weekends and holidaysExcellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentConsistently exhibits Canada Goose''s Values- taking pride in being innovative, authentic, passionate, relentless, and entrepreneurialAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and ExcelBonus points for proficiency in another languageSalary Range:$75000 - 85000 / year USDAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
