A journeyman shall be expected to work with minimal oversight. A journeyman shouldbe fully capable of meeting most services without direction. Government and/or contractorpersonnel may still perform quality control and quality assurance checks on their work butshould not find significant errors. Journeyman level contractor employees are expected toassist apprentice level personnel in learning their trade. Journeyman level contractoremployees also are expected to collaborate with Government and contractor personnel inNGA and the IC in the performance of services. Such collaboration should provide accuratetechnical information that contributes to synergized analysis that is better than the sum of theindividual parts. Journeyman level contractor personnel should regularly provide divisionlevel support and may periodically be called upon to provide support at the office level. Thefollowing skillsets are required/desired of Journeyman FMV analysts: Required:• Attended a basic Intelligence Course• Ability to prepare, maintain, and present intelligence displays, reports, and briefingswith the creation and use of visual aids (graphs, charts, etc.) and drafting, editing,and proofreading documents for publishing• Ability to work rapidly in a high tempo, high stress environment that often requiresmulti-tasking• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills• Ability to compile, segregate, evaluate, research, interpret, analyze, and disseminateintelligence information to support operations• Knowledge of the intelligence collection process Desired:• Provided real-time 24/7/365 support in a shift work environment as an integral part ofa team• Well versed in the use of internet relay chat• Skilled in data mining using M3, open-source reporting and other intelligence sources• Knowledgeable with ArcGIS and RemoteView or comparable ELT software• Capable of perfoming geo-locational mensuration functions, extracting coordinatesand positional relationships from digital database systems• Ability to maintain and uses geospatial databases• Knowledgeable on intelligence organizations and systems; collection and reportingsystems, intelligence information sources; techniques of identifying, collating,evaluating, and analyzing information• Knowledge of geographical and cultural aspects of foreign countries; militarycapabilities weapon systems• Ability to work independently with minimal or no oversight
