Overview** Mechanical Source Inspector **Seeking an Aerospace Mechanical Source Inspector in the Blue Earth, Minnesota area to support various supplier locations in Minnesota, and surrounding states. For an on-going contract part-time (24 hours per week) could go up to 40 hours some weeks Locations:to Blue Earth, MN; Fridley, MN; Hanover, MN; Burnsville, MN; Ramsey, MN; Waseca, MN; with occasional support in surrounding states such as Columbus, NE; Grafton, WI; Scot Forge, IL.Job Details: Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at suppliers facility to verify compliance to drawings, standards/specifications and other PO requirements Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damageExperience required: Minimum 5 years of precision mechanical inspection experience is required Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&T Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must Experience working with tight tolerances Hands-on mechanical inspection experience Must have experience working with Mil-standards Previous source inspection experience
