The User Interface (UI) /User Experience (UX) Designer supporting the Provider Enrollment and Chain of Ownership System (PECOS) 2.0 Redesign program will be responsible for the user interface design of our customer-facing applications and websites. Will have business knowledge that provides the ability to translate business objectives and requirements into a cohesive and usable end product. Required Skills- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, or other related field or 4 years of equivalent experience 4 years of experience User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design for dynamic, database or bootstrap driven web sites and Content Management Systems Hands-on experience with Axure, Balsamiq, and/or Sketch Thorough knowledge of human-centered design (HCD) patterns and best practices Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Confluence and SharePoint Experience incorporating reliable unit and end-to-end testing to UI frameworks Experience in web design and front end development using HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java Scripts and jQuery Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and possess expert debugging skills with UI related issues Working knowledge of Government regulations, including Section 508 compliance and accessibility Experience with developing themes and skins Desired Skills: US citizen or a Green Card holder Health Care Industry or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience (3-5 yrs. preferred) Prior experience with SAFe Agile Process for Government (A4G) Experience developing standards-compliant front-end code for websites, web applications, and mobile solutions using HTML, CSS and JavaScript driven framework, such as Angular or React Exceptional written communication and presentation skills including the ability to engage different stakeholders in developing and implementing designs Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority Additional Notes: Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years. Candidate must have hands-on experience with Axure and/or Balsamiq or Sketch and be willing to be onsite in order to be considered.
