The Centers utilize a panel of specialty physicians, ranging from general surgeons, podiatrists, family practice, internal medicine, and vascular surgeons. The physicians and clinical staff attend specialty training in Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine at Ohio State University through National Healing Corporation. All physicians follow the same evidence-based Clinical Pathway, using processes and procedures that have been developed and proven in 150 centers across the country. With the Clinical Pathway approach, chronic wound patients are usually healed within 12 to 16 weeks. The Wound Healing Centers at the St. Rose Dominican Hospitals Rose de Lima and San Martn Campuses offer hospital-based outpatient wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and specialized treatment of chronic wounds and non-responsive conditions. Registered nurses use this critical thinking process to apply the best available evidence and research data to the processes of diagnosis and treatment. Nurses continually evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and seek to optimize outcomes. Medical/clinical knowledge, technical and clinical skills, clinical judgment, interpersonal skills and communication as indicated in the current Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Hospitals are essential components of nursing practice. : Two (2) years experience as an RN in a Medical/Surgical setting. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN - Registered Nurse license from the State of NV Nursing Board. CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support AHAPreferred Qualifications: Wound care experience preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
