Senior DevOps Engineer

SNAPSHOT:Must be located in Portland, Oregon $120-135kJob Overview:If you think about infrastructure that only lives in repositories, or cloud-agnostic container platforms, or choosing between leveraging cloud managed services and robust physical systems, you may be the person we''re searching for.Design and deliver engineering solutions for automated processes that orchestrate and manage the infrastructure under the company Platform.Form working groups, be comfortable with direct open communications between many different departments such as Engineering, Quality Assurance and Hardware Operations to deliver highly available, scalable continuous delivery systems.Troubleshoot, assess, and improve processes and systems within the infrastructureTackling Technical Debt, managing rolling release cycles, decommissions and system migrations.Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.Skills and Experience5+ years of experience in an Operations role, with two or more years in a DevOps roleContainerization and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS a plus.Automation: Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins & Terraform.Platforms: AWS Infrastructure, Solution Architecture and Development, experience with AWS API. VMWare Vsphere a plus.Linux server administration with RHEL/Centos.Observability with Splunk, New Relic, Pingdom.Coding Experience in Git, Python, Bash, Yaml, Java or HCL.Bonus ExperienceExperience in managing high-capacity SMTP systems, ideally depth understanding of IP protocol stack, DNS, LDAP, Load Balancers, Intrusion Detection and Deep Packet mVault and AWS based data archiving.Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Bamboo).VMWare vSphere & Cisco UCS and HyperFlex Systems. - provided by Dice
