Evaluates facts and circumstances to derive conclusions and influence decision making through effective communication. Ensures the design and operating effectiveness of the control environment. Demonstrates desire and ability to guide a project from start to finish, assuming full ownership and accountability of work. Proactively identifies process improvement and automation. ResponsibilitiesPrepares monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provisions. Accounts for uncertain tax positions. Prepares and reviews monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. Prepares separate and consolidated income tax footnotes for financial statements. Prepares federal and state return to provisions. Conducts tax research and documents findings.Performs tax forecasting, including preparing effective tax rate forecasts and tax balance sheet forecasts.Performs tax computations for regulatory reporting.Adheres to department policies. Ensures tax accounting procedures are in compliance with regulations. Supports internal and external auditor requests.Minimum QualificationsAt a minimum, here''s what we need from you:Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field4+ years of experience in corporation tax in a large corporate tax function and/or public accounting, or related fieldPreferred QualificationsIf we had our say, we''d also look for:Master''s Degree in Taxation (MST), Law, or related field6+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax, working knowledge of ASC 740 or Income Tax Accounting, or related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA), JD, or related certification/licenseLI-EB1What are you waiting for?
