Responsibilities: * Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation.* Performs technical studies to refine project requirements.* Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.* Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.* May conduct performance/project analysis during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs.* Incumbents have experience as engineers before moving into this project role* Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.* Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from others.* Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.* Applies general knowledge of industry developed through education or past experience.* Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments.* Performs other duties as assigned in the quality, safety, operations, and leadership fields as necessary to fill gaps and or for professional development. Requirements/Qualifications: * Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering required; Construction, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering discipline preferred* 5+ years project engineering experience required. Small project cost control and support preferred.* Construction Operations/management experience required* Must be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office products* Strong business and analytical acumen.* Quality Assurance experience required* Effective interpersonal and communication skills to achieve results in interdisciplinary environment.* Must be able to travel to OCONUS when required Clearance required: * Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance
