Senior DevSecOps Engineer - REMOTE VA, Ashburn 20147 Security Clearance: U.S. Citizen, Current Security Clearance, Secret Skills: DevSecOps, DevOps, Cloud Services, AWS, Azure, Security+, Security Regulatory/Compliance, Python, Ansible, Jenkins We are recruiting for a Senior Level DevSecOps Engineer to support a federal government program. Qualified candidates should have experience supporting DoD architecture and expertise with system security and meeting DoD compliance and regulatory requirements. A current security clearance and IAT Level 2 certification is required for consideration. Location Note: This position offers remote work from a U.S. based location. Duties and responsibilities include: * Work as part of the DevSecOps Engineering Team and provide expertise for hybrid-cloud integrated solutions into DoD architecture * Work closely with security teams to meet all compliance, regulatory, and security requirements * Support an Agile development environment as a member of the SCRUM team participating in daily scrum meetings to support 2-3 week sprint cycles * Use sprint tracking software to track and communicate work activity * Interact with third party vendors * Comply with and promote industry best practices for cloud security Requirements include: * U.S. citizenship * Current security clearance (Secret at a minimum) * Current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent certification to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2/Level II * Bachelor''s degree in a related discipline (additional years of related experience will be considered as a substitute) * 8+ years of systems engineering experience including 2+ years focused on DevSecOps * Experience working hands-on with cloud technologies in an enterprise environment (AWS, Azure) * Experience with Infrastructure as Code supporting automation and orchestration within AWS or Azure cloud environments * Hands-on programming expertise in one or more of the following: Python, DSL, JSON, YAML, HCL, GO * Experience working with automation and orchestration tools including one or more of the following: Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, Pivotal, OpenShift * Cloud services experience including: * AWS services IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, EC2, S3, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS * Azure services: Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, SQL Database, App Service, Azure AD * Knowledge of industry standards and cloud provider best practices for security and automation tools * Effective written and verbal communication skills to excel in a blended government and contractor team environment CJ CB *MON ZR .
