The ADON supervises, analyzes, delegates, and evaluates nursing activities and ensures patient comfort and care. As a staff development coordinator, our ideal candidate will be a registered nurse (RN) with solid leadership skills and a strong understanding of the company''s needs, helping him or her to choose relevant and effective training programs. This individual must be an excellent communicator, with the ability to easily learn new skills and teach them to others.Responsibilities:Helping to hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses.Managing clinical operations and developing care plans.Assisting in budget preparation and expense management.Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.Training and educating nursing staff.Requirements/Qualifications:Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employmentMust have, as a minimum, two (2) year of recent experience in a supervisory role in a nursing care facilityInfection Preventionist certificate preferredAssist in organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility
