Job DescriptionCIVIL PROJECT MANAGER, SAN ANTONIO, TXWestwood Professional Services, Inc.Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our Residential team in San Antonio, Texas office. Westwood is looking for a driven, self-starter, high-performer with good communication skills for their Residential team in San Antonio, Texas. This individual will be pairing their civil engineering technical skills with their project management experience to coordinate, plan, organize, and execute projects within their team. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. Duties and Responsibilities:Manage projects from inception through completionPrepare and manage proposals, contracts, invoicing, work in process and account receivablesRepresent clients and firm in meetings with governmental agenciesPrepare, maintain, coordinate project schedules of multiple concurrent projects with clients and design teamDevelop and track project milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget project deliveryRecruit, manage, develop, lead, inspire, coach design teamPrepare plan documents and supporting design calculationsProduce high quality work and implement and maintain QA/QC proceduresSupport business development in preparation of proposalsAble to understand proposals and contract scope of services.Able to identify scope creep, write and capture additional services in a timely mannerOversee the technical, legal, and financial aspects of various projectsCoordinate with other disciplines and support servicesMake decisions independently in regard to various issues and methodsAble to accept and give performance feedbackRequired SkillsExtremely organizedDemonstrates active listening techniquesOutgoing, friendly, approachable (team player)Strong communication skills with team members and clientsProficient in computer software (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Outlook, Microsoft Project)Competent technical skills required to complete engineering tasksAble to proactively pursue design solutionsAbility to delegate assignments and determine methods and proceduresAbility to be open to others ideas and willing to compromiseDetail-oriented but also flexible enough to be big picture/conceptualAble to compromise and accept other''s ideasCapable of envisioning the client''s goalsGood reputation amongst peers, clients, and agenciesAble to follow general directions and guidelines for the firm''s policies, practices, and proceduresRequired ExperienceBachelor''s Degree in Civil EngineeringPrevious leadership experience or someone ready for a step upLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas (or capable of obtaining)Previous experience working with clients in the residential marketManagement experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and overall duties involved in supervising and managing a design teamMinimum of 5 years of experience as a project engineerAbout Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
