WHAT WE OFFER:$40-60k base plus commissionDirect hire positionOpportunity for growth within the companyCompany truck providedWHAT OUR EMPLOYEES DO:Maintaining a professional personal appearance during all work order visitsMaintaining company vehicle and tools in a clean and organized manner as well as communicate maintenance/replacement needs in a timely mannerCompleting repairs according to North Carolina Building Code Requirements and GuidelinesCompleting repairs within all OSHA and The Shingle Master safety standardsAlways maintain communication with customers and office personnel keeping all parties informed of changes to scheduling and job statusResponsible for completing and maintaining work orders using company softwareWhen necessary, additional duties may be assigned, and the company expects the Service Technician to exercise initiative to anticipate and prevent problems.WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR:Successful candidates for the role of Roofing Repair Technicians are highly motivated, skilled maintenance technicians who are able to solve problems on site. Our repair technicians have vast knowledge and skills and go above and beyond in providing a high level of customer service to our customersBilingual candidate is preferred, but not required2+ years of experience with various roofing applications (Asphalt Shingles, Tile, Metal, Coatings and Modified roofing)Experience with hand tools and materials used in the construction field.Physically capable of handling all aspects of roofing repairs.Experience with working in a safety driven culture.Good communication skills both written and oral.Able to communicate in Spanish fluently is a plus but not mandatory.OSHA and safety certifications are a plus.Technical training from manufacturers (Certainteed, GAF, Owens Corning, etc.) are a plus.Hold and maintain a valid drivers license.Ability to admit fault and take responsibility for your mistakes.TARGET SKILLSET:Roofing Technician, Repair Technician, Construction TechnicianTRC Staffing is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
