Position Summary: KES, Inc. is seeking a Sr. System Engineer with extensive experience supporting C4I Project Planning and Integration efforts for the US Navy. The Sr. System Engineer will be required to lead all project planning and integration efforts on this program including leadership of a team of subcontractors. Responsibilities: * Provide overall technical leadership to a team of engineers and program support personnel for Project Planning and Integration activities * Perform in a supervisory role to ensure all project activities are completed on time and at a high level of quality * Lead all technical Project Planning and Integration activities including scheduling * Manage customer expectations and successful delivery of Project Planning and Integration activities * Other Job Duties as assigned Experience: * Position requires extensive knowledge and experience in the following areas: * Development and maintenance of Project Manage Controls (PMC) including integrated scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM) monitoring, and Navy ashore modernization process * Development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Integrated Master Plan (IMP) including detailed resource loading of schedules utilizing MS Project * NAVWAR Shore Installation Handbook * Installation Database (SPIDER and IMOTracker) * Compose reports identifying schedule status, trends, risks with recommended mitigations * Risk Management * FRCB standards and processes * Integrating multiple schedules into a master project schedule, base lining, reporting performance measurements such as; baseline Budget at Completion (BAC), Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and Estimate to Complete (ETC) * Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems * Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events * Compose reports identifying schedule status, trends, risks with recommended mitigations. * Interfacing with internal and external staffs and organizations (Other NAVWAR Platform and Product Codes, NIWC PAC and external organizations involved in the project) to define, review and refine project goals, milestones, and objectives * Reviewing reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives * Preparing program reports for superiors and customers Qualifications and Educational Requirements: * Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or Computer Science * A minimum of 5 years of experience developing and maintaining detailed resource loaded schedules of projects using MS Project * At least 3 years of this experience must be in direct support to a program management office (PMO) or similar organization providing scheduling services * At least 2 years of this experience must be in direct support of a C4I MILCON program * High caliber oral, written, and briefing skills * This position requires an existing U.S. Government granted personnel security clearance at the Secret level.
