As a(n) Business Architect Senior within PNC''s Enterprise Data Management organization, you will be based within PNC''s footprint. Remote locations may be considered.The Business Architect Sr will act as a Business Data Architect who will support Enterprise Data Management (EDM) in coordinating and consolidating Application teams Key Results and roadmaps for data and analytics to support and govern strategic investments made in technology and the use of data.Specific duties include:--Experience in Architecture and strategic governance, specifically in Data and Analytics, aligning roadmaps to meet strategic target architecture across teams.--Engagement with multiple teams and coordination of multiple requirements that have similar needs, prioritizing based on business value--Governance of Application Roadmaps, key results metrics and meeting Business Data Architecture Standards & Strategic Requirements--Collaboration with Business Product owners, Enterprise Architecture and Technology Architecture to generate business requirements and metrics in strategic business solution architecture with technology solution architecture Specifically to the EDM EcosystemSkills Needed:Versed in Enterprise Architecture specific to Data SolutionsData Architecture StandardsData Warehousing, Data Analysis and Reporting (10 + years)Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and artifacts at Analysis and DesignFamiliarity with or Experience with Data Modeling (10 + years)Job Description Provides guidance and advice on business architecture designs in complex projects, resolves difficult problems and ensures that all deliverables meet high standards in quality.Designs business architecture procedures, such as the target operating model and roadmap, while considering business strategies and goals.Consults on best practices for junior staff in business architecture planning, processes, data modeling and business architecture tools (e.g. UML and BPMN.)Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.Oversees the quality of business architecture project deliverables while ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant standards and processes.PNC Employees take pride in our reputation and to continue building upon that we expect our employees to be:Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC''s Enterprise Risk Management petencies Business Architecture - Knowledge of an enterprise''s business structure, including processes and information related to business services; ability to design a blueprint for the architecture and align it with organizational strategic objectives.Business Process Modeling - Knowledge of the activities, tasks, deliverables and techniques for documenting current business processes; ability to identify problems, opportunities, and re-engineering processes for improvement.Consulting - Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse dustry Knowledge - Knowledge of the organization''s industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.IT Architecture - Knowledge of and ability to design and improve organizational IT structures and blueprints in order to better support business operations and efficiently achieve organizational objectives.IT Standards, Procedures& Policies - Knowledge of and the ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.Planning: Tactical, Strategic - Ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.Problem Solving - Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
