Our Human Resources Consultant is responsible for providing value-added, professional HR expertise to our clients and performing recruiting and training functions for the agency. We hire, train and retain associates who strive for excellence, love a challenge, and have the passion it takes to continuously earn recognition as an expert.What is in it for you?* Competitive compensation program* Complete benefits package for you, your spouse, domestic partner and dependents* A defined career path included with training, development opportunities and mentorships* Collaborative environment* A firm that is committed to core values* Inclusive cultureWe will count on you to:* Providing HR expertise in response to client inquiries:* Answering client inquiries related to all aspects of Human Resources management* Providing sample forms, policies, and other general HR materials* Reviewing and critiquing documentation provided by clients related to HR matters* Advising clients on HR best practices and strategy* Helping clients ensure HR compliance with local, state, and federal regulations* Conducting quarterly seminars and webinars on relevant HR topics* Meeting with producers and/or clients for prospect development and client retention* Providing HR Consulting for Fee-Based Projects* Scope, Price, Propose and Perform HR projects for clients as needed: employee handbooks, HR compliance audits, compensation programs, management and employee training, harassment investigations, employee relations issues.* Bill clients on a monthly basis to meet sales quota* Billable hour vs. project fees* Incentive compensation structure* Developing and maintaining client relationshipsWhat you need to have:* Minimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resource Generalist experience required* Bachelor''s degree in Human Resource Management or a closely related field* PHR or SPHR/SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required* Broad knowledge of HR functional areas/processes with a strong background in EEOC, Compliance, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations* Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment regulations* Demonstrate Agency values* Demonstrated PC proficiency with proven knowledge and ability to work extensively with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)* Excellent client management and business acumen* Must be able to take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs as well as make recommendations* Proven ability to effectively manage complex issues/problems with minimal supervision; must be self-directed/ motivated* Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills required* Must have transportation to travel between offices, to event locations and other required destinations and must maintain a valid driver''s license; colleague is expected to provide his/her own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage onlyWe embrace a culture that celebrates and promotes the many backgrounds, heritages and perspectives of our colleagues and clients.
