Overview:Baylor Scott & White Institute for RehabilitationDallas, Tx Physical Therapist - PRN Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pmPRN Rate: 55.00/hr.We''re actively seeking a Physical Therapist to join our dynamic Transdisciplinary Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation team. As a Physical Therapist on our team you will have the unique opportunity to be involved in our holistic and individualized approach. You will be an integral part of delivering expected outcomes to help serve individuals with TBI, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury and other neurological diseases patients return home, work, school and the community. SCI, TBI, Stroke, and Post-Acute Neuro Rehabilitation experience a plus.This position is located at our beautiful brand facility, located next to our Downtown Dallas Rehabilitation hospital on the BUMC campus. Our Neuro Transitional Rehab is for patients that need additional intense rehabilitation before they go home. Our inpatient post hospital facility was designed with only 9 suites to be able to provide the individualized attention needed, and practice skills learned and compensatory strategies in a home and community environment.Take a Virtual Tour!Responsibilities:Position SummaryEvaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient''s need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.Qualifications:Minimum QualificationsCurrent state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.Additional Data:**Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal opportunity employer.
