In doing so, we have developed the right way - the ''Correct Way'' as we like to call it - of providing correctional healthcare.Currently, CorrectHealth provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare services inside the walls of more than 40 correctional facilities throughout Georgia and Louisiana.The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic participates in the clinical aspects of the patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. Performs duties under the supervision of the RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider and/or Physician in accordance with the rules and regulations of the state of employment. Possesses knowledge and ability to provide quality care as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment. Maintains a professional attitude at all times as well as standards and ethics in accordance with applicable licensing boards and other accrediting agencies.Job Qualifications:Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or current certification to practice as a Paramedic in the state of employment in the state of employment. American Heart Association BLS certified.
