Accounts Payable Specialist

In this role, you'' ll handle a variety of key accounting tasks for the team and will really take the lead on all things related to Accounts Payable. Some of your tasks include the following: Review and enter all invoices for payment and process the weekly check runProcess annual Forms 1099Operate the corporate credit card program(s)Remit state sales and use tax paymentsRecord cash receipts and make daily bank depositsBook revenue to the general ledgerCreate and enter journal entries and complete account reconciliationsAccounts Payable Specialist Requirements At least 2 years of accounting or accounts payable experienceUnderstanding of federal and state tax regulations as it relates to vendor paymentsProficiency with using software including database, electronics, and Microsoft productsFrequent calculating, interrupted work on a variety of interrelated tasks, and use of sustained concentration, reasoning, judgment, resourcefulness, analytical ability, and ingenuity
