These digital solutions (e.g. Unify) encompass connected monitoring devices and sensors coupled with medical device software to:* Improve clinical development, through optimising data collection and improving communications between AZ, HCP and patients* Provide enriched data sets to support regulatory submissions, and differentiated labelling* Optimise real world medication use by patients and deliver digital interventions to improve clinical outcomesAs part of the Digital Health R&D the team will develop and execute AZ''s R&D Digital strategy. The program has already delivered the first versions of bespoke digital solutions for clinical trials globally, built on a standardized set of modules to enable identification and recruitment of patients, ongoing engagement and retention, support to sites and collection of data directly from patients.What you will doThe Translation coordinator will lead our work in establishing a state-of-the-art eCOA library translation process together with the Unify Deployment team, Development Operations, other parts of AstraZeneca and external partners. The role will work with eCOA SMEs within and outside AstraZeneca to deliver an optimized approach to efficiently manage and uphold a digital asset in a wide range of languages and locals to be readily deployed into clinical trials. You will work in a team of Product Managers/Owners and Digital Patient Solution experts to jointly deliver a flexible product that covers most aspects of patient interactions in a clinical trial and deploy a high quality Digital Patient Solution.The Unify Translations Coordinator is responsible for managing the translations development of electronic solutions for all languages in assigned studies. The Translations Coordinator works closely with the study team and establishes and maintains scope, provides recommendations, and manages the translations providers supporting the study.Typical Accountabilities* Manages the overall screenshot development and proofing process, communicating issues to study team to ensure proper resolution* Assists with screenshot development and proofreading, troubleshoots errors and communicates to appropriate stakeholders, conducts a quality control check on all deliverables.* Project Ownership (Project Manages all tasks related to translations work for assigned study), managing copyright holders and vendors.* Provides direct support to Implementation Leads regarding translations timelines, complexities, author/copyright holder management, methodology requirement and the overall rollout of languages taking into account EC/IRB submission support, and FSI rollouts.* Sets-up projects directly with translations providers [Handoff English-US software files and screenshots, along with any applicable source files, to the translations vendor(s) to request costs and timeline estimates for work reflective of the scope of the study (indicating methodologies, etc.)* Provides SME advice related to linguistic validation, and EC submission strategies.* Manages and troubleshoots technical issues related to all components that impacts translations build, testing and release with Unify teams.* Translation Vendor Management: manages project deliverables & timelines on a per project basis.* Ensures practices (internal & external) and procedures meet the regulatory compliance standards for Good Clinical Practices.Essential Requirements* BA/BS in a related field.* Project management experience.* Strong proofreading and attention to detail is required.* Proven track record for adhering to timelines and being a productive cross-functional team member.* Familiarity with working in highly-regulated environments is preferred, and working in a Life Science and/or Translations-related industry is a plus.Why AstraZeneca?At AstraZeneca when we see an opportunity for change, we seize it and make it happen, because any opportunity no matter how small, can be the start of something big.
