Serco specializes in areas including obsolescence engineering, systems engineering services, test equipment design and build, and field engineering services, and maintains a near-field and compact antenna test range at Ludlow.The Document Control Specialist will work with our engineering team to provide project or program-level document control and configuration management support of technical documentation used in the execution of multiple build-to-print task orders for military hardware programs. The position will perform data entry function to maintain the documentation database to track drawing revisions, parts lists, and As-Built configurations using tools like Deltek Costpoint, CMPro, and Microsoft Excel. Responsible for configuration control of production systems in our Costpoint data base, and the update and release of parts list changes provided by production engineers. Works with other experts on the program team to complete deliverables and make recommendations for process improvements to program leadership to deliver the best support to customers. In this role, you will: Provide direct support to the program and project managers of multiple US military hardware integration programs. Provides data management for control of production documentation and maintenance of assigned projects configuration data in the CM database. Weekly reporting to the program management teams of drawing and document revisions. Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECN), Notices of Revision (NOR), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) to support production of active taskingQualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will have: Bachelors degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years experience. Ability to obtain a secret clearance after hire. Experience in a program CM support role working within a team environment. Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand DoD documentation and revision management processes. Experience with CM database such as Deltek Costpoint, CMPro or SAP. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAdditional desired experience and skills: Ability to quickly learn new functional skills and tasks Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products in order to use and create spreadsheets, reports and presentations. Possess excellent written and verbal communications skill. Must be able to effectively multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic production environment.
