The Leidos DES (Defense Enclave Services) team is supporting an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies. Leidos currently has openings for Desktop Support Engineers to work at Ft. Meade, MD.PROGRAM SUMMARY:The Defense Enclave Services contract will unify the DOD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities'' common use information technology systems, personnel, functions and program elements under the direction of DISA''s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: •Must hold an active Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:•Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.•Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area end user related functions.•Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.•Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.•Provide Tier 1 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problem.•Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.•Effectively communicate and directly engage with customers and colleagues.•Hands-on diagnose network related issues.•Work independently to resolve technical issues in a dynamic environment.•Focus on superior customer satisfaction.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:•Bachelor''s degree and 4+ years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.•Demonstrated technical experience and understanding of virtual and physical support systems•Able to demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to technical challenges•Active Directory Systems Administrator experience•Familiarity with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)•Virtual Storage experience•Experience working within ITIL framework•Must have CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent certification.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:•Master''s degree.DISADESExternal Referral EligiblePay Range:Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
