In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, AstraZeneca has partnered with world-class institutions to discover and develop a long-acting antibody for the prevention of COVID-19. This Marketing Director role will establish this long-acting antibody as an integral tool in the prevention of COVID-19 for vulnerable patients.The Director HCP Marketing is responsible for defining and designing the brand strategy that will establish the long-acting antibody as the integral tool to protect immune-compromised patients from COVID-19. The successful candidate will be passionate about improving the lives of immune-compromised people and focused on supporting HCPs (Healthcare Professionals) to continue to protect the immune-compromised during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an opportunity to work across multiple therapy areas at AstraZeneca and lead cross functional teams to meet the brand''s objectives.What you''ll do* Raising AstraZeneca''s profile as a leader in Vaccine''s and Immunotherapy among health care professionals* Define and design brand strategy based on deep HCP insights* Develop creative channels to effectively reach healthcare providers* Develop and refine promotional messages for personal and non-personal engagements* Collaborate across AstraZeneca to engage with professional societies to ensure we meet the needs of customers across disciplines* Create sustainable, long-term relationships with thought leader advocates and customer advocacy groupsMinimum Qualifications* Bachelor''s degree in business, marketing or the sciences* 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries* 3+ years of experience in HCP promotion* Experience leading strategic planning* Experience managing creative and media agencies* Budget management* Proven track record of achieving brand goals* Demonstrated ability to creatively engage consumers with omnichannel tactics* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a quickly changing environment* Effective communication* Ability to effectively communicate brand strategy to key stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications* Pharmaceutical brand launch experience* Experience marketing in multiple therapeutic areas* Pharmaceutical sales experience* High ambition for professional growth* Local to Wilmington, DE area* Experience developing complete office promotion* Vaccine and immunotherapy experienceWhy AstraZeneca?At AstraZeneca when we see an opportunity for change, we seize it and make it happen, because any opportunity no matter how small, can be the start of something big.
