Arconic is looking for a proven HR Business Partner interested in training to become the Labor Relations Leader at Davenport Works.Arconic''s Global Rolled Products offers a range of highly-differentiated aluminum sheet and plate products for the aerospace, automotive, commercial transportation, brazing, and industrial markets.Since it opened in 1948, Arconic''s Davenport Works has been at the forefront of American manufacturing. Through continued modernization, including several hundred-million-dollar investments over the past five years alone, Davenport Works has maintained its position as the world''s premier aerospace supply plant and is today the hub of Arconic''s multi-billion-dollar aerospace and automotive business.The HRBP / LR Leader in Training reports to the HR Manager/LR Director. He/she will provide HR Business Partner support to a limited number of assigned departments and have responsibility for plant-wide functions, while becoming the Company''s representative that our unions ''go to'' for discussion and resolution of plant-wide issues.While work hours would be primarily day shift, Monday through Friday, this job requires schedule flexibility to attend to HR and LR needs on back shifts and weekends, as required. Some travel may be required as well.Additional responsibilities:* HR responsibilities successful candidate would be expected to perform independently now:* provide one-stop support for his/her assigned department(s).
