Data Capture Technician with Security Clearance

Overview / Job Responsibilities: At ACT1, our people make the difference. As a Data Capture Technician supporting the Headquarters, U.S. Space Force (HQ USSF) team in the Pentagon, you will be trusted to provide program support to the Policy, Strategy, and Support Services for Data Management, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning for Space Force, Chief Technology and Innovation Office (SF/CTIO) . In this role, a typical day will include: * Supporting the development and coordination of policies and governance to employ digital tools, effectively manage data, and enhance the information technology infrastructure * Researching, analyzing, and developing recommendations to assess and accredit emerging digital capabilities * Assisting in the research and develop complex strategies and planning for IT systems implementation designed to create but not limited to: Chief of Space Operations (CSO) functional databases, automate processes to track/monitor multi- service rating schemes, appraisal cycles, records management and financial plans, and personnel accountability. * Assisting with Assessment and Accreditation of AI/ML capabilities as required. Minimum Qualifications: WHAT YOU''LL NEED: * A Bachelor''s degree in a STEM or data analysis-related field is required * A minimum five (5) years of experience in technical field is required * Experience working within a data management framework and identifying mission areas and associated metadata sets; * Previous experience collecting organization and data catalog content * Demonstrated experience collecting dataflow requirements for all existing and new dataflow * Previous experience collecting metadata for, and producing, an electronic data dictionary * Experience establishing responsibilities and processes for metadata standardization and collection * The ability to analyze the following: * Existing capabilities * Emerging technologies * Data, metrics, and processes * Strategy/plans and develop recommendations to assess and accredit emerging capabilities * Proficiency in all Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams * An active TS/SCI clearance is required Additional Information: WHAT ACT1 CAN OFFER YOU: * Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance * Company Paid Life and AD&D Insurance * Company Paid Short-Term Disability * Health care flexible spending accounts * 401K * Paid Time Off * Paid Holidays ACT1 is a federal contractor covered by Executive Order 14042 ''Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors''.
