Leidos has the perfect job for you!We are looking for a skilled and adaptable OCONUS Infrastructure Lead to support our DHMSM program in Vienna, Virginia, providing modernization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities for the Department of Defense. Leidos, along with core partners Cerner, Accenture, and Henry Schein, will support the DHMSM Program Executive Office (PEO) and the Defense Health Agency in the global deployment of our proposed EHR system that will deliver improved system capability to the DoD whenever and wherever healthcare is required. Let talk about how good it feels when you know you are making that kind of difference!!The DHMSM OCONUS Infrastructure Lead will support the solution strategy of defense health by developing and implementing technologies or services aligned with Leidos'' existing EHR technologies to help DHMSM/DHA achieve quantifiable clinical and financial performance improvement objectives. The successful candidate will provide thought leadership to drive performance improvement, technology enablement, and emerging healthcare trends in the form of standardized assessments, workflows, and care planning initiatives at scale. This position will provide insight to the program team on both the local market and global enterprise levels. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, and collaborative approach, with the ability to adapt and lead change courageously.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGProvide technical leadership to ensure acceptable levels of system performance for users located "Outside the Continental United States" (OCONUS), propose solutions to address identified challenges, and implement selected solutions in coordination with client and program partners. Research and propose courses of action. Establish a test lab where options can be validated. Lead a diverse team of technology and solution resources. Analyze and study complex system requirements. Manage system implementation and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques. Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Supervise software configuration management. Review current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for systems improvements.Develop plans and requirements in the subject matter area for moderately complex to complex systems related to information systems architecture, networking; telecommunications, automation, communications protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software, lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation.Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identify resources required for each task.Leverage requisite knowledge and expertise so recognized in the professional community that the government is able to qualify the individual as an expert in the field for an actual task order.Mainly responsible for OCONUS infrastructure, network solutions and work with Cerner infrastructure team to resolve the technical challengeExceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact with internal and external team members, including executive leadership, and technology and solutions resources at a variety of levels.** Travel to OCONUS locations is not expected to be necessary.FACTORS FOR SUCCESSBachelor''s degree required with 12+ years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure operations and administration to include network and security operationsUS Citizenship required - must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust government security clearance, per contract requirements. Related defense health experience, EHR system architecture and implementationStrong network architecture knowledgeHands on experience with network connectivity and performance improvementExperience with geographically distributed systemsBroad technical architect knowledge on performance, scalabilitySoftware development methodologies, including testingExperience reporting and managing SLAs, gathering performance metrics, analyzing and reporting Familiarity with DoD Configuration Management and Systems Engineering methodologies--preferredExperience with DoD, VA or Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) programs and their lifecycle support"”preferredPreferred CertificationsProject Management Professional - PMPITIL v3 Foundation (AXELOS) PMI Agile Certified Practitioner - PMI-ACP CISCO Certified Network Associate - CCNA-RS Security+ CE (Comptia) Pay Range:Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
