As an Integrated Engineering Manager in F-35 Training & Logistics area, the individual will lead a diverse group of employees across multiple functional disciplines that develop innovative training and logistics solutions. The Integrated Engineer Mgr has a dual role. As a functional manager for approximately 16 engineers, the individual is responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions for a combined group of multi-disciplinary engineers. The selected individual will be responsible for guiding the team through a cultural transformation from classical engineering groups to a combined Integrated Engineering group. The FLM will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers skilled in systems and software engineering and responsible for developing training devices and logistics equipment solutions for F-35. As an Integrated Engineering Manager, you will be expected to facilitate the deployment and use of best practices, tools, and processes on our programs and work with the Engineering Program Managers (EPMs) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to ensure programs are staffed properly and the organization''s staff is meeting all program and business commitments. The candidate may perform in a project leadership role, which may include Control Account Management (CAM) responsibility.Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor''s degree in engineering or related field plus 12 years relevant work experience•Familiarity with functional engineering process, including performance appraisals, promotion planning, employee mentoring and hiring.•Knowledgeable in Systems/Software/Hardware Engineering or Configuration and Data Management Processes and Tools• Experience across the System Development Life Cycle• Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives• Must have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance• Experience developing and managing a project budget and schedule, managing risks and opportunities, managing to metricsDesired Skills:Individuals considered for this position may have experience in one or more of the following areas:• Proven leadership experience in engineering assignments and successful proven results in leading and executing on software or systems intensive programs• Previous L-Code (or team leading) Experience• Proposal development experience including cost estimating• CAM experience• Experience with managing subcontractor relations• Experience planning and coordinating systems/software development in a team-oriented environment• Experience working in technical teams in a virtual environment• Specific training in Leadership/Management and related topics• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
