Civil Engineer Consultant (Structural)

Design, review, and provide technical support on structural projects as assigned. This will involve developing a working set of construction drawings and specifications, along with estimates, calculations, and permits, used for bidding and construction of the project. Projects could be only structural design or be part of a multi-discipline team requiring collaboration and coordination of work. Where consultants are utilized for design purposes, this position will coordinate, review, and compile comments for the assigned projects.This position involves the design and review of single and multi-discipline construction, repair, alteration, renovation, and capital improvement projects for buildings, structures, and facilities of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources from beginning to end, including the preparation of design and construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates; participation in planning, design, and construction conferences; review of construction submittals; response to design and construction questions; and assistance in construction terested in learning more? In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Necessary Special Requirements: * Possession of a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.
