Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its Top 100 Places to Work.Overview:The GI Lab is a specialty procedural area for GI and Pulmonology procedures with 5 gastroenterologist and 4 pulmonologists. Our staff covers 2 procedural areas: the outpatient only- area in the physicians plaza building and the hospital procedural area in the main hospital. Both locations have a pre/post unit. The hospital area serves high-risk outpatients, inpatients and ED patients. Every nurse here trains and works in the 3 nursing roles: admitting nurse, circulating nurse (in the procedure room) and recovery/discharge nurse. The GI Lab performs 50-60 procedures a day.Qualifications: Experience: At least one year previous experience in clinical nursing preferred.
