Then this might be your chance to become a part of our innovative and enthusiastic Service this role you will perform installations, repairs and maintenance of complex scientific and analytical instrumentation.What are your responsibilities?Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on all application lab systems.Coordinate and perform instrument and benchtop repairs in line with customer requests and contractual obligations.Responsible for instrument testing and calibration, electrical and mechanical repairs and parts ordering.Responsible for returning repaired systems back to the customers.Track and report call details in appropriate system of record.Performance validations using company certified procedures; problem diagnosis and system repair. Align, repair, replace and or balance component parts and circuitry as required.Reassemble and calibrate instruments and equipment.Schedule and complete Help desk assigned in-house service jobs in a timely fashion.Serve as Technical point of contact and the subject matter expert.Assist Operations Manager with routine maintenance needs.Provide back-up support for the US Helpdesk on an as needed basis, as requested by Director of Customer Support.Overnight travel may be required periodically for training or field backup (IMPACT:Customer satisfactionGrowth and profitability of After Sales RevenueMaintain and build upon the professional image of Malvern PanalyticalWhat do you need to be successful in this role?At least 3-5 years of experience in electronics or in the electro-mechanical field and/or recent and relevant class work.
