These videos are a great way for you to learn more about our business and our mission so take a minute to check them out: RoleThe Shop Director plays a pivotal role in the operations of our NYC and LA production shops. This includes directly managing Shop Managers, Technicians, Engineers, and any crews assigned to work within our facilities or on our walls. This position will manage our inventory systems, shop projects, wall projects, training, vehicle and lift maintenance, and general facilities upkeep. For insight into Colossal Media''s work, take a few minutes to hear more from our founders in this video.Key Responsibilities: Setting daily shop priorities Working with the Operations team for weekly scheduling Managing multi-market inventory systems and processesCommunicating with vendors to build and maintain working relationships.Tracking production spending and identifying opportunities for cost-savingCompiling spending reports for senior leadershipUnderstanding and utilizing our CapEx and 1159 process to preserve Colossal''s profit margins while executing large improvement projects for our facilities and structuresDirectly supervising Shop Managers, Shop Techs, Shop Floor Managers, and Shop Engineers in all marketsUnderstanding and enforcing safety standards, policies, and processesTracking lifts and trucks; team and job allocation, repair, and opportunity costsTeaching shop floor processes and duties to new employeesProactively working on growth strategies as they relate to our facilitiesWhat can you expect from us?Competitive base salary + annual bonus opportunityMultiple medical plan optionsDental and vision insurance120 hours of paid time off (PTO) that increases with tenure and paid holidays401(k) plan with company contributions for participationWellness program incentives such as medical plan premium holidays and HSA contributionsPotential advancement opportunities due to the nature of Colossal''s rapid growth!Training for this role will be completed at the NYC shop location within 90 days of starting.
