Air Vehicle Integration Engineer (Multiple Openings): Bell is seeking Air Vehicle Integration Engineers to join the V-280 Valor Program within the Advanced Vertical Lift Systems Team. Air Vehicle Integration Engineers act as an extension of the Chief Engineer and Program Manager Office and are responsible for developing, allocating, validating and verifying Tier 1 requirements during the EMD Phase of the program. In doing so the Air Vehicle Integration Engineer, in close coordination with the Chief Engineer and Level 3 IPT Leader, has delegated oversight of all sub-system IPTs associated with their area of expertise. Position Responsibilities: * Coordinate with Bell Engineering, Program Management and Business Development teams to influence customer requirements. * Lead the develop of Tier 1 (air vehicle and mission system) specifications, concepts and architectures to satisfy Tier 0 requirements. * Lead the allocation of Tier 1 specifications, concepts and architectures to Tier 2 sub-systems (airframe, drive system, rotors, avionics, mission equipment, vehicle systems, etc.). * Provide leadership and support to the sub-system IPTs executing the design, analysis and verification of the allocated requirements. * Develop Program Specific Qualification Plans * Lead the development of Subsystem Specific Qualification Plans * Provide technical oversight and support to subsystem IPTs during design and qualification of subsystems and ultimately the weapon system * Provide project and technical management of large, cross functional special projects where bandwidth of IPT Management is challenged. * Technical, budget and schedule responsibility for assignments where necessary to drive IPT responsibility, execution, and accountability. Qualifications Education Requirements: * Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering is required. * Master''s Degree is preferred. Position Requirements: * Experience at all levels will be considered. Positions at various Engineering levels will be offered, depending on experience. * Experience in the design, development, test, manufacturing and operation of air vehicle and/or mission systems is required. * Knowledge of aircraft flight characteristics and aircraft systems functionality is required. * Knowledge of sub-system interface requirements and definition is required. * Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and coordinate program activities and report status. * Experience developing and maintaining Tier 1-sub system requirements is preferred. * Technical experience in at least two aircraft sub-systems and/or disciplines is preferred. * Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers. * PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required. * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required. * CJ You have the unique opportunity to join a different kind of team; one that is focused on pushing boundaries, one that advocates for our customers by presenting them with the very best and by cultivating a culture of inclusivity and excitement for what''s ahead.
