Agricultural Research Technician II

Description of WorkThis Agricultural Research Technician position is located on the Piedmont Research Station which focuses on a wide variety of projects including field crops, horticulture, dairy, and poultry. This position will support research efforts at the Poultry Unit. This position will work closely with other research station staff, including the dairy and crops team, to meet daily demands of research protocols and to contribute to overall success of station''s goals. Required technical skills involve general animal agricultural production, mixing and feeding of chickens: mechanical and electrical hand tools; electronic and mechanical scales; laboratory equipment; and basic computer software for data collection.
