For additional company information, please visit: Responsibilities As a senior Chief Engineer with MTSI you will provide support the Satellite Control Network (SCN) within Space Systems Command (SSC) in its mission to sustain and modernize the SCN and provide highly reliable telemetry, tracking, command, communication and control (TT&C3) for more than 170 Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), civil and allied satellites. You will integrate new systems and services into the Battle Management Command, Control & Communications Sustainment (BCS) programs, gain support for new and on-going efforts in all phases of the acquisition life cycle and develop and utilize engineering technical services to obtain systems engineering support and processes within BCS. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: * As the Chief Engineer you shall have a deep understanding of relevant SCN mission critical aspects of engineering and DoD space programs and projects. * You shall perform all functional duties, independently and require no immediate training.* You shall have relevant engineering certifications and transition easily between requirements without the need for Government oversight. * You shall have deep knowledge of Higher Headquarters, Air and Space Force, Space Command, processes and procedures as it relates to SCN functional responsibility and speak and write Air and Space Force and Space Acquisition terminology appropriately. * You will build oral and written presentations for high ranking acquisition leaders to performing in-depth complex analyses with a high degree of quality and accuracy. Qualifications * Minimum fifteen (15) years relevant Engineering experience leading the primary engineering efforts of an Acquisition Category III level (or equivalent) software and hardware program. * Minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting the overall engineering integration of relevant efforts.* Minimum of five (5) years extensive expertise in the relative STS-3 Battle Management Command, Control & Communications Sustainment (BCS) areas to the SCN.Education Requirements: * Master degree from an accredited college or university relevant to their area of expertise limited to the following: Management, Business, Acquisition, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Technology, Engineering, and Operations Research.* Senior level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the use of an electronic Government authorized information management system, collaboration portal, or integrated data environment (IDE).Certification Requirements: * Shall have relevant engineering certifications and/or experience.Clearance Requirements: * Active TS/SCI clearance.* U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.Location/Travel Requirements: * Full-time, on site in vicinity of Colorado Springs, CO and will require travel up to 25% of time within the continental United States.The pay range for this position in Colorado is $160,000/year to $210,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
