Senior AMAG Security Technician with Security Clearance

Description SAIC is hiring a Sr. AMAG Security Systems Technician in Tampa, FL to support USSOCOM. Note: This is a pipeline position for upcoming openings on our team. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot any issues with the security system at HQ USSOCOM Tampa, FL. JOB DUTIES: * Provides support required for ancillary facilities modifications, yearly maintenance, inspections, trouble-shooting, and repair of Security Systems, Digital Video Surveillance Systems and various security related sensors and devices such as balanced magnetic switches, surveillance cameras and infrared motion detectors * Provides life cycle support, maintenance, upgrades and certification of electronic and physical security systems to include Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems (ACS), and barrier systems for various locations * The On-Site Technician will not enforce policy, but will be cognizant and report all security discrepancies and violations to the USCENTCOM Security Management Office (SMO) Qualifications REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE: * High School diploma and 4 years professional experience; OR Bachelor''s Degree and 0 years'' experience required. * Six (6) years electronic security system experience (preferred). * Able to maintain AMAG, Electronic Security System and troubleshoot false alarms associated with Motion Detectors, Access Card Readers and various other components of the AMAG security system * Must be able to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms as needed to access equipment. * Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all DoD stakeholders to provide dependable, professional support * Must be able to travel OCONUS 10% of the time approx. 2 times a year * Some computer knowledge (Excel and AMAG mostly) * Hardware focused background with some relative software experience (preferred). * Candidate must be a US Citizen. * Must have an Active DOD Top Secret/SCI Clearance in order to be considered. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Electronics Tech background * Low/Voltage wiring experience (i.e. DC control circuits or PLC''s) * Multi/Volt meter experience * Basic circuit knowledge Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
