Job Description: Mission Solutions directorate of Parsons Space is seeking a full-time Software Configuration Management Analyst to support NASA''s Space Communication Network Services Program (SCNS) at the WSC in Las Cruces, NM. Position Responsibilities * Analyze current configuration management processes, tools, and procedures to make recommendations for process enhancements* Work closely with systems engineers, software engineers, technicians, and project managers to execute a configuration management solution that addresses all user needs* Lead and mentor other configuration management professionals on processes, procedures, and solutionsRequired Qualifications and Skills * Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance* BS in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or a related technical field or Associate''s degree with four years of work experience.* Familiarity with reading/learning technical documentation and drawings* Familiarity with configuration management processes for hardware and software* Ability to support/execute system engineering gate reviews (e.g., System Requirements Review, Critical Design Review)Desired Qualifications and Skills * Use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)* Knowledge of Linux/Windows/VMS operating systems administration* Experience with satellite ground data systems* Experience with the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite system* Highly motivated individual comfortable working with a cross-disciplinary team in a fast-paced and challenging environment* Self-motivated and disciplined, able to work with minimal supervision* Quick learner and enjoys the challenge of learning and doing something new* Excellent written and oral communication skills* Highly organized and detail-oriented Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
