Senior Software Engineer Salary: $105k-$125kClearance: TS clearanceLocation: Washington DCIndustry: Department of Defense Requirements:Understanding of the .NET Framework up to and including 4.x.Experience with MVC, Entity Framework, Cascading Style Sheets, AJAX, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML, terpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.Previous experience in developing, updating, and maintaining secure software code and scripts in a Visual Studio environment.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.The ability to write reusable libraries.Familiarity with software design and architectural patterns.Knowledge and understanding of multithreading development.Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests. Job Duties:Hands-on writing, reviewing, and testing of software code for both client side and server-side applications.Designing and developing the appropriate system functionality based on gathered requirements.Coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the application infrastructure.Working closely with the project manager and technical lead to define and prioritize enhancements and new functionality to existing solutions.Identifying bottlenecks and bugs to devise solutions that mitigate and address the issue(s).Translation of application storyboards and use cases into functional components.Designing, building, and maintenance of efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on system requirements.
