System Administrator with Security Clearance

What You Will Be Doing The Systems Administrator provide technical support, to include: * Provide Level III backchannel support * Develop, maintain, and implement security control compliance and associated information system Plans of Actions and Milestones in accordance with NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework at the direction of the Information System Security Officer. * Implement, maintain, and operate NASIC critical infrastructure such as Active Directory, Domain Name System, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol servers, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, VMware virtualization, and backups * Maintain, secure, patch, and deploy software and operating systems * Sustain Server, storage, network, and workstation infrastructure * Provide documented Operational views of new installations and upgrades and comply with all governance requirements * Develop, support, and troubleshoot scripts for automation of IT-related tasks Qualifications: * TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance * Required Certification: Possess & maintain Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification as required by Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 17-1303, Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8140.01, and DoD 8570.01-M * Desired certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Responsibilities: * Maintain, administer, update Windows operating systems, products, applications, and services * Create, configure, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot virtual systems in VMware * Provide production network integration between current and new services * Maintain configuration management controls, to include security and lifecycle updates * Create and maintain custom ad hoc scripting, utilize approved government code repository, and follow release management processes * Conduct periodic log reviews for usability and troubleshooting * Develop change plans for all information system modifications * Perform file and email message remediation as necessitated by identified security incidents * Support and troubleshoot scripts written in Microsoft Powershell, Python, bash, and Perl for automation of IT-related tasks for all system designs * Implement, configure, and maintain block, object, and file level storage * Maintain and track user roles and accesses * Support installation, administration, and updates of antivirus software, server, and signatures * Maintain, administer, and update approved third party applications, to include Splunk, ePolicy Orchestrator, cross-domain solutions, and others * Provide support for Dell EMC Unity and Juniper solutions * Perform software loading and configuration controls About Tyto AtheneTyto is an IT services and solutions company that provides mission-focused digital transformation to enhance the client experience and enable them to achieve desired outcomes.
