Image Processing Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description Radiance is seeking an Image Processing Engineer who will continue advancement of infrared phenomenology and techniques. The candidate will support infrared sensor data analysis functions through the development and improvement of techniques and procedures for the Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) of data from infrared sensors and other GEOINT sensors as needed, as well as the development of missile and aircraft modeling and simulation capabilities that support physics-based signature estimation. The engineer in this position will work collaboratively with other GEOINT and MASINT Engineers, Scientists, and Analysts at Radiance and within NASIC to develop advanced intelligence analysis processes. The Engineer will work side-by-side with clients, scientists, and engineers to: * Understand complex Electro-Optical and Infrared (EO/IR) payloads * Write research-level software scripts for problem solving and visualization * Simulate EO/IR performance using current industry tools * Analyze image formation processing and image processing algorithms * Adapt existing engineering-level code to new sensors * Characterize new sensors for R&D applications Required Skills * Bachelor''s Degree in STEM field (Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Remote Sensing, or another relevant technical field) * US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance Required Experience * A minimum of 2 years of Python and/or C++ experience * Understanding of signal processing techniques for solving problems Desired Skills and Qualifications * Experience with image processing and exploitation, atmospheric correction, or related topics * Experience with object-oriented programming and software design concepts * Familiarity with Python computing libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and Pytorch * Experience with SQL Database and/or Elasticsearch * Experience with docker and container deployment * Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility Job Location Beavercreek, Ohio, United States Position Type Full-Time/Regular US Citizenship Required Yes Ability to obtain a Security Clearance Yes Polygraph Required Not Required
