Job Description

This position manages and develops reimbursement configuration programming staff and directs the accurate, effective, and efficient configuration, programming, support, and maintenance of assigned components of the company''s core and integrated business applications. The Supervisor maintains an understanding of operational and technical demands by evaluating the needs and goals of the Company and directs the implementation of business systems solutions to accommodate those demands. The incumbent understands reimbursement methodologies to design current and future state configuration strategies that meet business needs.Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities:* Provides end-to-end analysis, planning, design, coding, testing and deployment of business sponsored initiatives that require configuration programming.* Using knowledge of business processes, system design, coding methods, technologies and implementation standards, ensures that solutions, reimbursement configuration and products meet the business requirements submitted.* Maintains an understanding of operational and technical demands by evaluating the needs and goals of the Health Plan and directs the implementation of associated core and integrated systems solutions to accommodate those demands.* Directs, supports and/or validates the governance and maintenance of documentation to support appropriate change control of the core and integrated systems'' configuration and design, as well as the training and development of staff to support and deliver high-quality solutions for the core and integrated systems.* Assign resources for system development, implementation, modification and maintenance process. Ensures that resources participate in Project Management Process and adheres to programming and quality policy, procedure and standards.* Responsible for timely implementation of enhancements or new technologies to processing systems ensuring prompt, accurate and efficient processing for all product lines. Manages inventory of reimbursement related configuration changes determining priority based on risk to the organization.* Develops procedures and contingency plans to maintain project schedules and ensure production and quality issues are addressed. Oversee reporting reflecting project status, team performance and related activities as required.* Manages staff across Health Plan locations. Interviews, selects, and trains staff to achieve or exceed established standards of performance. Evaluates and appraises performance and makes recommendations for merit increases and advancements. Motivates and counsels team to increase efficiency and encourage career development.* Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies'' mission and values, adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct, and leading to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.* Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.* Maintains knowledge of all relevant legislative and regulatory mandates and ensures that all activities are compliant with these requirements.* Conducts periodic staff meetings to include timely distribution and education related to departmental and Ethics/Compliance information.* Performs other duties and functions as assigned by management.Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field required. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant programming experience, system configuration experience or related business system analysis/coding experience is required.* Three - five years of relevant work experience required.* Knowledge of provider reimbursement and provider contracting.* Demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory experience.* Facets Application Configuration Certification or applicable Reimbursement Configuration Certification required within six months of starting in the position.* Advanced understanding of system knowledge.* Demonstrated experience with full cycle project design and development, structured systems analysis and design, data gathering techniques and management information systems.* Understanding of expertise in relevant configuration programming, job control languages and structured configuration programming techniques.* Demonstrated strong analytical, diagnostic, communication and problem-solving abilities.Physical Requirements:* Ability to work prolonged periods sitting at a workstation and working on a computer.* Ability to work while sitting and/or standing while at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.* Typical office environment including fluorescent lighting.* Ability to work in a home office for continuous periods of time for business continuity.* Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.* The ability to hear, understand and speak clearly while using a phone, with or without a headset.The Lifetime Healthcare Companies aims to attract the best talent from diverse socioeconomic, cultural and experiential backgrounds, to diversify our workforce and best reflect the communities we serve.Our mission is to foster an environment where diversity and inclusion are explicitly recognized as fundamental parts of our organizational culture.
