This includes performing a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations in the production of our medical devices. You will be following established standards using diagrams, drawings, or other assembly procedures.You are responsible forThe Operator is responsible for the product quality output coming from the Operators setting, checks and adjustment of the line processOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assembly drawingsClean and maintain work area properly turn off and lock out equipment when not in useMeasure and record process parameters and report results to supervisionAdhere to production schedules and report material shortagesAssure components/parts/documents comply with quality specifications before handing over to next step in processAccurately document all required entries in the Lot History RecordComply with GMPs regarding material labeling, SOPs and proper segregation of material in the production processDemonstrate an understanding of the Quality SystemEnsure all training requirements are in a current statusSuggest improvements that contribute to improved quality, increased productivity and/or improved work environmentExecutes the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety, regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policiesPreparing/machining smaller series of products or raw materials using various machines/tools/resources according to work regulations/instructionsMonitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or remanufacture faulty productsYou are part ofYou will be working with a great team of dedicated experts in the Medical Device Industry and learn from our engineers, production team and manufacturing about our state-of-the-art productsA highly influential company ambassador who can greatly impact the way we produce, support and deliver our high-quality medical devices.To succeed in this role, youll need a customer-first attitude and the followingHigh School diploma or equivalent2+ years on the job in medical device clean room experienceCatheter Assembly ProcessBasic reading, writing and arithmetic skills requiredExperience and ability to routinely use a microscopeIncumbent will be required to work in conditions normal for a manufacturing environmentWork involves standing for extended periods of timeWork involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 30 poundsOperations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors and any other required PPEGood hand to hand and hand to eye coordinationStandard clean room environment materials and equipment including microscope, Dial/digital calipers, snap gauges, pin gauges, drawings, SOPs, ultrasonic cleaners and polishing machinesIn return, we offer youThe ability to collaborate with, learn and grow from colleagues in a highly complex, global organization where you can use your strengths to help drive strategic business initiatives for Philips.
