POSITION SUMMARYGeneralist position responsible for leading a broad range of HR responsibilities for the Northtec Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain population, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, leadership development, engagement, compensation, and employee programs. Establishes strong relationships and communications with Northtec Manufacturing employees at frontline level. Under the direction of the Director, HR for Northtec, works with frontline leaders and supervisors to execute HR Programs and practices. Work with Employee Services and HR Centers of Excellence to focus on transforming and standardizing critical HR processes and procedures.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEmployee Relations and Engagement:* Establish strong partnerships with frontline supervisors and employees supporting developing the optimal culture to drive high performance, retention and engagement* Develop and cultivate active, two-way communications with all levels of employees in all functions on all shifts. Conduct regular visits to Plant Operations areas during day, evening, and night shifts.* Research and resolve performance and other employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and partnering with Legal when necessary.* Provide confidential opportunities for employees to discuss their concerns. Advocate for employees when needed.* Use judgment when issues require intervention/elevation to the next level of management* Coach employees and supervisors on appropriate responses and give advice on how to handle sensitive mattersRecruitment:* Leads recruitment efforts for designated population and partners with the Talent Acquisition team on recruiting efforts* Work closely with appropriate contacts to develop recruitment processes and practices, in line with HR Strategy.* Works with Compensation on appropriate packagesTraining & Development:* Use data, reporting and analysis to understand strengths and areas of opportunity for people practices, developing strategic and tactical programs as necessary. (I.e. employee engagement, reward and recognition, etc.)* Supports training and development programs as needed* Partners with Plant leadership to drive ongoing Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives onsitePerformance and Development:* Lead performance development, merit, and bonus processes for assigned employees. Deliver training, communication on process and timelines, and assist with year-end processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.* Identify and provide succession planning opportunities, feedback and guidance to appropriate managers as it relates to the Company Performance Management processProcess and Procedure:* Keep current and well informed on external and internal HR best practices.* Provide education and guidance to supervisors and employees on Company policies, practices, and regulatory requirements.* Execute on procedural requirements for HR core processes for Northtec siteQualifications* Bachelor Degree required.* Minimum 3-4 years prior experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.* Must be available to meet with evening and late shifts on a regular schedule and as needed.* Demonstrated proficiency in Human Resources functional delivery.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong computer skills - familiar with MS office, HR Systems (Taleo, Oracle or similar HR systems).* Ability to handle matters of a highly confidential nature; perceptive; understands priorities, anticipates, detailed oriented, accurate and organized.* Demonstrates problem solving skills.* Superior organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.Job: Human ResourcesPrimary Location: Americas-US-PA-BristolJob Type: StandardSchedule: Full-timeShift: 1st (Day) ShiftJob Number: 2215728We are an equal opportunity employer.
