Our direct client is looking for Peoplesoft Database Admin - remote. Pls send me resume, rate, contact details and current location Must be able to work remotely and collaborate with other Peoplesoft DBA Consultant resources and the development team. Scope of services: The Peoplesoft Database Admin provides production support services to Peoplesoft technical staff. Specific job activities: A. System Maintenance Performs scheduled password changes per best practices to maintain system security and support audit compliance Performs quarterly patching of PeopleSoft components including WebLogic, PeopleTools, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, etc Performs code migrations, Data Mover executions and in-app configurations between environments as required to support the development lifecycle or leverages automated solutions when possible Establishes PeopleSoft system specifications by conferring with peers; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; and designs system infrastructure. Maintains PeopleSoft system performance by proactively performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating system and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to internal support team and leadership. Apply patches/updates to 9.2/8.58 HCM, ELM and FIN Databases (DEV1&2, Test, QA, Prod) to maintain current versions and vendor support; provides server validation and smoke testing after patching activities Manage certificate renewals as required throughout the year Facilitate vendor file uploads when not automated and troubleshoot failures KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Required: Bachelor''s Degree in an information technology related major. Master''s degree preferred. Preferred technical/software experience: Experience administering Windows servers Familiar with PeopleTools Development and Administration Ability to develop and support Powershell scripts Experience Deployment Packages (DPK) Experience with PeopleSoft on an Oracle Database Familiar with managing PeopleSoft Domains Familiar managing a Load Balanced PeopleSoft Environment Ability to write scripts to automate interfaces via SFTP Familiar with the PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Search Frameworks Experience with Elasticsearch Familiar with the basics of HTML and the HTTP protocol Ability to assist with troubleshooting SQR, App Engine, COBOL, BI Publisher Experience applying patches with the PeopleSoft Update Manager Experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or newer environment for 2+ years Experience in installation, upgrades and patching of Oracle Software Understanding of Performance tuning SQL. Experience with Vagrant and Hyper-V Experience writing Puppet code and experience with YAML Experience using Phire for migrations Experience using Git to manage code changes • Experience with PeopleSoft Unified Navigation Experience with psadmin Experience with Oracle SQL Experience with WebLogic Experience with Tuxedo Experience with Change Assistant Experience with Application Designer and Data Mover Experience with Powershell Experience with openssl - provided by Dice
